Kids Watch Tower

The Kids Watch Tower was built as part of a construction workshop at The Venny, which is a risk taking playground located in Kensington, Victoria.

The design is based on the principle of hyperboloid to create a tower like structure using straight bamboo poles. The original design was developed in collaboration with the kids.

The top of the tower consists of a bamboo deck tied using recycled bicycle tubes. The nest is made using pahang (type of cane). A small hole in the floor allows kids to climb into the nest and enjoy the view.
